Forbes Recognizes Ventana as America’s Best Startup Employer

CUPERTINO, Calif. – March 5, 2024 – Ventana Micro Systems Inc., provider of the highest performance RISC-V processors, today announced it ranked 11th in the America's Best Startup Employers 2024 list published by Forbes. This prestigious recognition showcases Ventana's continued commitment toward creating an environment that fosters innovation, employee satisfaction and career growth.

Forbes, in collaboration with market research firm Statista, created the list of America's Best Startup Employers 2024 using exhaustive analysis of thousands of companies. The selection process for the prestigious award began with an initial pool of over 20,000 U.S.-based, privately held startups founded between 2014 and 2021, employing more than 50 individuals. 

These companies were subjected to a rigorous evaluation based on three key dimensions: employer reputation, employee satisfaction and growth. Employer reputation was gauged through an analysis of numerous articles, blogs and social media posts, using text analysis to classify sentiments toward each company's corporate culture and employee engagement. 

Employee satisfaction was assessed via online reviews, retention rates and policies on diversity, inclusivity, parental leave and workplace flexibility. Growth metrics were examined through website traffic, job openings and headcount changes over a two-year period, culminating in a comprehensive review of more than 7 million data points. The result of this meticulous process was the selection of the top 500 startups that excel in creating environments where employees thrive, thereby setting a benchmark for success in the startup ecosystem.
